Work related injuries, accidents or illness are preventable and we actively encourage our employees to plan and execute their work and take the actions necessary to promote and achieve our goal of being a zero-incident company.

Aura Minerals works cooperatively with local authorities, employees and community members to identify corrective actions and preventative measures that would best promote responsible health and safety practices. These actions and measures include holding weekly health and safety meetings, conducting periodic health and safety audits and offering health and safety training to employees and members of the community. The Company’s good safety record illustrates that the current initiatives form a good base, however additional work will be needed to ensure the continued health and safety of employees and community members.
